IRS Form 990s

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 990 is an annual federal informational return that most tax-exempt charitable corporations are required to file. The information in the Form 990s is provided in accordance with IRS regulations. We post the Form 990s on our Web site in accordance with accepted best practices for providing transparent operating information about our organization as well as to comply with IRS regulations requiring that these returns be made widely available to the public.

To reinforce our commitment to transparency regarding our operations and financial information, we file individual Form 990s for each of our separately incorporated entities. Those forms can be found below. It is important to note that the individual Form 990s alone present an incomplete picture of the American Cancer Society’s overall business operations and financial results. In order to gain a complete understanding of the American Cancer Society’s finances as a whole please refer instead to our annual audited financial statements.
