As an Associate Scientist II in the Study Management team within the Population Science department at the American Cancer Society (ACS), Dannelle Charles, MPH, helps manage data from the VOICES of Black Women Study. She also cleans data and refines existing quality control measures.
Charles’ previous work in cancer research focused on understanding the experiences with, care (including gaps in care) among Black women with gynecologic or breast cancer. as well as quality improvement in patient care experiences through qualitative research. She also has a background in reproductive and pediatric health and health disparities, previously working in multiple public health sectors, from academia to local health departments.
