Brant Woodward is senior executive vice president, Field Operations, for the American Cancer Society (ACS). In this role, Brant serves as primary staff liaison between the American Cancer Society’s executive leadership and the organization’s regional teams, supervising all six Regions and the Puerto Rico Division, as well as the Field Operations team that works to support the business needs of the field. Brant oversees the strategic development and support of the organization’s community and network fundraising programs, corporate support and operations, field business support, and volunteerism.
Prior to this role, Brant served as executive vice president of the American Cancer Society’s Southeast Region, driving the development and implementation of the organization’s mission and revenue strategies across five states and Puerto Rico. Brant engaged corporate and medical leaders, high-level donors, and leadership volunteers in furthering the fight against cancer. Under Brant’s leadership, the region served thousands of people facing cancer and their caregivers, engaged volunteers to support community-based programs, inspired and equipped companies to provide healthy workplaces, and raised more than $80 million annually to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Having started his American Cancer Society career in 1994, Brant has extensive experience and expertise in income development, volunteer partnerships, strategic planning and operations management. Brant's prior ACS roles include vice president of Income Development, Regional vice president, and most recently, senior vice president, Operations, for ACS’ former East Central Division, which served Pennsylvania and Ohio. Additionally, Brant has held leadership roles for three ACS Hope Lodge® capital campaigns, served on the organization’s Nationwide Income Development Council and chaired numerous nationwide and regional task forces focused on fundraising and volunteer engagement.
Brant received his BA from Elon University, and he resides in Atlanta with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Caroline.
