Location
This is a virtual volunteer opportunity. Volunteers connect with people facing breast cancer through a website or mobile app.
Time Commitment
Weekly time commitment varies based on your preferences and the number of requests received. Scheduling is flexible, and the mobile app makes volunteering convenient. Volunteers should be able to respond to requests within 24 hours.
Required Training
Reach To Recovery volunteers must complete an online training. Training is required to help ensure high-quality delivery of the program.
Benefits
Volunteers give patients an opportunity to express feelings, talk about concerns, and ask questions. Most importantly, Reach To Recovery volunteers offer understanding, support, and hope because they themselves have survived breast cancer. It is an ideal volunteer opportunity for people who are breast cancer survivors, like one-on-one interaction, want a flexible schedule, and can encourage others. It’s a truly meaningful and rewarding experience.
