Kimberly Jackson is executive vice president of the American Cancer Society’s Southeast Region, which serves communities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia.
As EVP, Kimberly is the Region’s senior-most staff executive, driving the development and implementation of the American Cancer Society’s mission and revenue strategies across five states. Kimberly engages corporate and medical leaders, high-level donors, and leadership volunteers in furthering the fight against cancer. Under Kimberly’s leadership, the Southeast Region serves thousands of cancer patients and caregivers, engages volunteers to support community-based programs, inspires and equips companies to provide healthy workplaces, and raises more than $65 million annually to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Kimberly joined the organization in 2022 and brings decades of experience creating innovative solutions in support of effective relationship management, revenue growth, budget development, and strategic planning and execution. Kimberly's professional career spans both the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds, including holding several corporate positions and launching her own successful company. Kimberly served in multiple leadership roles at the American Heart Association, including senior vice president and executive director for metro Atlanta. Earlier in her career, Kimberly spent 10 years at the American Cancer Society in several mission delivery positions and served as national strategic lead for African American collaborations and partnerships.
Kimberly is based in Atlanta and is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University.
