Crucial Catch

The NFL and the American Cancer Society (ACS) have teamed up to fight cancer and save lives. Crucial Catch helps more people catch cancer early, and addresses the unequal burden of cancer in under-resourced communities. Crucial Catch promotes prevention and early detection of cancer, which can impact anyone at any age, and increases access to lifesaving cancer screenings.  Since 2009, Crucial Catch has raised more than $38 million reaching  over 2.7 million people with interventions to increase cancer screenings and improve outcomes through CHANGE grants, given to health centers in all NFL team markets to expand access to cancer screenings and preventive treatments. Aligned with the league’s commitment to social impact, these grants have supported more than 1,170,800 cancer screenings in identified communities with the greatest need.

Please join us to make a Crucial Catch against cancer today.

Cancer screening saves lives

Some cancers can be found early, before they have had a chance to grow and spread. Getting screened is crucial to catching cancer early when it may be easier to treat. Together, alongside the American Cancer Society, Novartis is joining the NFL in its commitment to expand access to cancer screenings in under-resourced communities, reaching people where they are and when they need it most. Make your play and find your local cancer screening center.

NFL Crucial Catch PSA

This year’s Umbrella Cause campaign, There Is No I in Change, reinforces the NFL’s commitment to creating meaningful impact both on and off the field. While the campaign will spotlight several players whose leadership has advanced key Cause initiatives, it will also highlight a powerful truth: lasting change is never achieved alone.

As the NFL enters the 2026-2027 season, the league will continue to elevate the unifying message of its core purpose: “It Takes All of Us.” Throughout the season, the campaign will showcase the collective efforts of players, clubs, partners, and communities working together to drive positive change. By highlighting the breadth of this shared impact, the campaign will demonstrate that meaningful progress is only possible when we come together
